Kenny Walker was my dear friend and musical right hand man. We played together in many bands over many years. I asked him to be in my original band in 1998 and we played together through 2002. Kenny passed away in August of 2004. Aside from being a wonderful musician, he was as good a friend as one could ask for. His impact on the Atlanta music scene was very apparent at his funeral with all of the musicians who showed up to pay their respects.
He will be missed but never forgotten.

Thanks for everything and I know that you're singing and playing in heaven.
